The Hedgerows Regulations 1997 [SI No. 1160]

These Regulations make provision for the protection of important hedgerows in England and Wales.

The Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994 [SI No. 2716]

These Regulations make provision for implementing Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora.

The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990 [SI No. 1519]

These Regulations detail the procedures for applications for listed building consent, for conservation area consent, for the variation or discharge of conditions attached to listed building consents or conservation area consents.

The Town and Country Planning (Applications) Regulations 1988 [SI No. 1812]

These Regulations detail requirements for applications for planning permission under the Town and Country Planning Act 1971.

This amendment includes a requirement for some design and access statements accompanying planning applications to local authorities to explain how environmental sustainability is applied in the design.
