C4.6 Audit Programmes
An Audit Programme is a schedule of audits to be conducted. When compiling an audit programme, consideration should be given to:
- Significant Environmental Aspects and Impacts.
- Previous audit results.
- The complexity of the activities.
- Environmental legislative requirements.
Audits may be programmed in several different ways. They may be programmed by activity, by location or by EMS clause (topic). The approach that suits each organisation will vary depending upon factors including the number of locations or activities, the complexity of the organisation etc.
