- The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 SI 809 (Local Authorities).
- Relates to the energy performance of buildings. Other previous amendments include SI 2011/2452, 2010/1456, 2009/1900.
- The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 SI 991
- (Local Authorities) (and 2007 Amendments 1 and 2 SI 1669 and SI 3302). Requires building owners to make an energy performance certificate available for buyers or tenants and to inspect air conditioning systems regularly. Also requires public buildings to have a display energy certificate on show within the building. Schedule 2 and Regulation 8 revoked by Building Regulations 2010 SI 2214.

- (Local Authorities). Contains provisions relating to the energy performance of buildings, including requirement that builders of new or altered buildings supply the owner with an energy performance certificate.
- The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (Allocation of Allowances for Payment) Regulations 2012 SI 1386
- (Environment Agency) Impose charges by providing for the allocation and issue of allowances in return for payment in the trading scheme established by the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Order 2010 SI 2010/768.
- The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (Amendment) Order 2011 SI 234
- (Environment Agency). Amends 2010/768 by extending phase one of the trading schemes to 1 April 2014. Reduces the second and sixth phases from seven to six years. The second phase will start on 1 April 2013. Each phase will overlap the previous phase by one year instead of two.
- The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Order 2010 SI 768
- (Environment Agency). Establishes for the UK a new energy efficiency scheme designed to reduce carbon emissions through improving energy efficiency in public and private sector organisations that consume large amounts of electricity, gas and other fuels.
- The Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010 SI 2617
- (National Measurement Office). Puts in place a framework for minimum energy efficiency standards for energy-using products. Adds civil sanctions as an enforcement mechanism. Introduces powers to require manufacturers to pay.
- Energy Information Regulations 2011 SI 1524
- (National Measurement Office). Applies to energy-related products which have a significant impact on energy consumption and requires information to be provided to customers. Includes powers of enforcement to improve the environmental performance of products.
- EU Regulation on a Revised Community Eco-Label Award Scheme 1980/2000
- (National Measurement Office). Sets out a scheme to award an ‘eco-label’ to manufacturers who want to inform consumers about what they are doing to reduce the environmental impact of their products.
- EU Regulation on ecodesign requirements for non-directional household lamps 244/2009
- (National Measurement Office). Lists requirements for marketing fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge lamps, ballasts and luminaires. Also includes benchmarks for office lighting products.
- EU Regulation on ecodesign requirements for fluorescent and high intensity discharge lamps, and for ballasts and luminaires 245/2009
- (National Measurement Office). Establishes eco-design requirements for marketing non-directional household lamps including those marketed for non-household use.
- EU Regulation on Eco-design requirements for lamps 347/2010
- (National Measurement Office). Amends 245/2009 by introducing new definitions and technical information, including efficacy values for fluorescent lamps.
- EU Regulation 1222/2009 on the labelling of tyres with respect to fuel efficiency and other essential parameters
- (National Measurement Office). Requires tyre suppliers to ensure that the tyres they deliver to distributors and end users are labelled with their fuel efficiency and noise levels from 1 November 2012.
