Human impacts on the oxygen cycle:

A key impact upon the oxygen cycle is the removal of plant life across the globe. Whether this is deforestation of a rainforest for the plantation of palm oil (used for bio-fuel) or for logging; the removal of green areas or trees for development, the effect is the same – less plants result in less photosynthesis, which result in reduced oxygen production.

It should be noted that Oxygen also plays a part in other cycles. For example, Oxygen forms molecules with other atoms (such as with Carbon to form Carbon Dioxide – CO2).
